Kevin Duke of the Bend Bulletin couldn't resist the temptation and headed out to Awbrey Glen to partake of GolfBoard magic. Duke rounded out the foursome that included  Head Golf Professional Tim Fraley, C.O.O. and General Manager Mark Amberson, and Club Board President Gary Chandler, as they played the inaugural GolfBoard round at the club.

By the end of the round all fears were squashed - Will it be stable enough for everyone including a gentleman aged 66? YES. Can it handle the hills of our course? YES. Will it be as much fun as they say? YES. Will it attract new interest and new players and the media attention that equals free publicity? YES, YES and YES.

Other adjectives that came out of this experience in the words of Mr. Duke: "Fun. Sturdy. Stable. Easy to ride."
